Michael "Frankie" Lambert is the leader of Frankie and the Fairlanes and has been entertaining audiences in a variety of genres of music since the 1980’s. Nightmare, Axent and Prowler played throughout Ontario offering classic rock and heavy metal. In the 1990’s Michael’s traveling theatre group, The Doctor Lightheart Theatre Company visited churches, hospitals, schools and retirement homes with a message of positive energy and the original music that Lambert wrote for the show. This project morphed in the late 1990’s and well into the 2000’s to a well received and popular Christian hard rock group. Speck Seven performed at Christian music festivals, coffee houses and youth events all over Southwestern Ontario. A solo album of Michael’s music followed the success of Speck Seven and garnered a Vibe Award nomination for Michael at the Showcase performances in Calgary. For a number of years Michael was a Praise and Worship music leader at a non-denominational church in St. Thomas and volunteered as a praise leader at Sprucedale Detention Centre in Simcoe. Since 2006 Frankie and the Fairlanes has drawn on Michael’s experience as an entertainer and teams him with an ensemble of top notch musicians and vocalists to provide a musical event that is visually exciting and musically excellent. |
